It’s tempting to print emails or online sales receipts, but there’s another way to print without printing: save it as a PDF file. With the release of Windows 7 in just two days, we’re making the option to buy a new Lotus desktop with Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional or Ultimate available today. Because it takes a couple of days for us to complete order processing, a Windows 7-based Lotus desktop will be available to ship shortly after the release of Windows 7.

We recently received word from our IT supplier that Windows XP will no longer be available for us to order within the next few months, as they just purchased their final order of Windows XP copies. What this means for Lotus, is that while we should have enough Windows XP discs and licenses in stock to last us through the year, we are announcing a Windows XP cutoff date of October 22, 2009 — the day Windows 7 is scheduled for release.
